| Tifton Turf Farms has been the leader in the turf industry for over 30 years. Our company was founded on the principle of producing, harvesting, shipping and installing quality turfgrass throughout the southeastern United States. In the 1980’s and 90’s, Tifton turf specialized in supplying and planting turfgrass on golf courses and athletic fields in the southeast. We worked with many golf architects and golf course contractors throughout the southeast. We provided and installed the turfgrass and consulted on the grow-in of these projects to make sure they met their deadline and the golf course was opened on time. This was a combined effort of the architect, contractor, irrigation contractor, grassing contractor and golf course superintendent. In the 2000’s, Tifton turf grew into the development and renovation of sports fields. This section of the turf industry has grown tremendously and Tifton turf is recognized as a leader in this specialized market. |
